Sausage Macaroni Casserole Recipe

  • 2 cups (7 or 8 oz.) macaroni
  • 1/4 t. curry powder (optional)
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1-1/2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 lb. sausage
  • 4 hard cooked eggs, sliced
  1. Cook macaroni according to directions; drain and set aside.
  2. In skillet, melt margarine.
  3. Brown sausage; add onion, green pepper and curry powder until tender.
  4. In large bowl combine soup, milk; add sausage mixture, 1 cup cheese, 3 eggs.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Turn into 2-1/2 qt.
  7. Buttered casserole.
  8. Cover top with cheese and 1 sliced egg.
  9. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. (Freezes nicely)
